     William Hamilton was born on 8 April 1788 in Rhode Island.1 He married Hannah Babcock circa 1814 in Batavia, Genesee county, New York.1 He married Susan (?) on 25 November 1849 in Lee county, Iowa; her name was listed as Mrs. Susannah George.2,3 He and Susan Hamilton appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Lee county, Iowa, enumerated 29 September 1850.2 He and Susan Hamilton appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Charleston, Lee county, Iowa, enumerated 25 June 1860.4 He died on 16 June 1861 in Charleston, Lee county, Iowa, at age 73.1 He was buried in Charleston cemetery, Charleston, Lee county, Iowa.5

     William Hamilton was born in 1860 in California.1 He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Hamilton and Eunice Richardson. He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Redwood Township, Santa Clara county, California, in the household of his parents, Lorenzo Dow Hamilton and Eunice Hamilton.2 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of San Jose, Santa Clara county, California, in the household of his mother, John Martin Ogan Sr.3 Cause of death was intestinal obstruction.4 He died on 8 April 1920 in Medford, Jackson county, Oregon.4

Hamilton was born circa 1815 in Batavia, Genesee county, New York.1 He was the son of William Hamilton and Hannah Babcock.1 He married Martha Scoville on 1 August 1846 in Lee county, Iowa.2 He and Martha Hamilton appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Lee county, Iowa, enumerated 24 September 1850, with children Hannah (4), Greaty (3) and William (1).3 He was a farmer.4 He and Martha Hamilton appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Charleston, Lee county, Iowa, enumerated 26 June 1860, with children Hannah J. (13), Graty A. (11), Lonzo D. (8) and Martha V (1).5 He died circa 1865 in Lee county, Iowa.1

     Sarah (Sallie) Ann Hammond was born on 6 May 1827 in Kentucky. She was born in May 1828.1 She married William Chandler Carnahan, son of John Carnahan and Sarah Bradburn, on 11 March 1849.2 She appeared on the William George Carnahan in 226 Belleville, Marion, Crittenden county, Kentucky, and William Ernest Carnahan and Douglas Orme Carnahan were living in the same household.1 She died on 30 October 1906 at age 79. She was buried in Mapleview Cemetery, Marion, Crittenden county, Kentucky.
