     Mary Levina Messamore was born in November 1873 in Kentucky.2,3 She married Benjamin Worthington Carnahan, son of John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Kimsey, on 20 February 1893 in Crittenden county, Kentucky.1,4 She and Benjamin Worthington Carnahan appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Wamac, Clinton county, Illinois, at 1412 Case Street, enumerated 17 April 1940.5 She died on 17 March 1946 in Centralia, Clinton county, Illinois, at age 72.2

Ebenezer Miller

     Ebenezer Miller was born on 13 June 1737.1 He was the son of William Miller and Deliverance Mills. He was a patriot during the American Revolution.2 He died on 15 November 1785 at age 48.1 Ebenezer Miller's home, built in 1760 in Miller Place, still stands.      Elihu Sanford Miller was a general store proprietor, postmaster and botanist in Wading River, Suffolk county, New York.1 He was born on 1 February 1848 in New York.2,3,4 He was the son of Sylvester Miller and Emily Tuthill. He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Riverhead, Suffolk county, New York, in the household of his parents, Sylvester Miller and Emily Miller.5 He married Mary Esther Mulford in 1875.2,3 He was a florist in 1900.3 He died on 18 November 1940 at age 92.6,4 He was buried in Wading River Cemetery, Wading River, Suffolk county, New York.4

     Eliza Miller was born on 9 April 1805 in Wading River, New York.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Zophar Mills Miller and Betsey Davis. She married John Howell, son of Major John Mitchell Howell and Mary Halsey, on 23 November 1824 in Wading River, Suffolk county, New York; They were married by Rev. A. Luce.3 She and John Howell appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Southold, Suffolk county, New York, enumerated 15 July 1850. Their children George, Caroline and Frances were listed as living with them.5 She and John Howell appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Southold enumerated 17 July 1860. Their son George was listed as living with them.6 She and John Howell appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Southold enumerated 22 June 1870.7 She died on 3 February 1878 in Southold at age 72.8,9 She was buried in Willow Hill Cemetery, Southold, Suffolk county, New York.10
