Margaret went on to marry Sir John Elrington.2,3 She died after 1482.1

     Hallam Tennyson Randle Ford was born between January 1887 and March 1887 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Charles William Randle Ford and Emelia Tennyson.1 He appeared on the 1891 English Census of 10 Stanley Place, Chester, Cheshire, England, in the household of his parents, Charles William Randle Ford and Emelia Ford.2 He appeared on the 1901 English Census of Orford Depot Military Barracks, Warrington, Lancashire, in the household of his parents, Charles William Randle Ford and Emelia Ford.3 At the outset of the Great War, Hallam T. R. Ford was in Ceylon. As a Private in the Ceylon Planters Rifle Corps, he entered France in 1915. Commissioned in April 1916, he was posted to the 8th Battalion Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry in Salonika. In April 1917 he left the regiment for the Royal Flying Corps in Salonika, serving with No.17 Squadron as a Flying Officer (Observer). For his services he was mentioned in despatches (London Gazette 30 January 1919) and awarded the Croix de Guerre (London Gazette 7 November 1918). In September 1919 he was transferred to the Unemployed List of the R.A.F. (from auctioneers notes accompanying an auction of his medals in 2010.) He was a lieutenant, Royal Flying Corps, later RAF in 1915.4 He was a planter in 1956 in Ceylon.5 He died on 30 March 1957 in Hatton Nursing Home, Hatton, Ceylon.6 His estate, effects valued at £984 6s. 9d., was probated on 11 July 1958 in London.6

     John Randle Ford was born on 15 October 1817 in Bath, Somerset, England.2 He was baptized on 26 December 1817 in St. Mary's Chapel, Walcot, Bath, Somerset, England.2 He married Elisabeth Frances Browne, daughter of John Browne and Elizabeth Charlesworth, on 12 May 1847 in St. Swithin's church, Walcot, Bath, Somerset, England. The Gentleman's Magazine reported the wedding as follows: "At Bath, John Randle Ford late Capt. in her Majesty's 95th Regt. eldest son of Capt. Ford of Lansdown Pl. Bath, to Elizabeth, only dau. of the late John Browne, esq and niece of William Smith esq. of Lansdown-crescent, Bath and Wyvols'-court, Swallowfield, Wilts."1 He and Elisabeth Frances Ford appeared on the 1861 English Census of 11 Lansdowne Place, Walcot, Somerset, England, enumerated 7 April 1861. Their children Charles, Frederic, James and Augustus were listed as living with them.3 He and Elisabeth Frances Ford appeared on the 1871 English Census of 11 Lansdowne Place, Walcot, Somerset, enumerated 2 April 1871. Their children Frederic and James were listed as living with them.4 He and Elisabeth Frances Ford appeared on the 1881 English Census of Walcot enumerated 3 April 1881.5 He appeared on the 1891 English Census of Walcot enumerated 5 April 1891, living with his niece, Beatrice Emily C. Ford, and two servants.6 He died on 22 May 1901 in Bath, Somerset, England, at age 83.7 His estate of £10,241 15s. 6p. was probated on 9 August 1901 in London, England, to Charles William Randle Ford.8
