Major John Howell

     Major John Howell was baptized on 28 November 1624 in Marsh Gibbon, Buckinghamshire, England.1 He was the son of Edward Howell and Frances Paxton. He was described as "a man of distinction and one who more than any of his contemporaries in Southampton was entrusted with the management of public business, especially in its graver relations with New England and the colonial government of New York." He married Susannah Mitchell.2 He was deposed in the matter of the nuncupative will of Robert Fordham on 27 November 1674.3 He died on 3 November 1696 at age 71.4 He was buried in Southend Cemetery, Southampton, Suffolk county, New York.

     Major John Mitchell Howell was born on 27 September 1772. He was the son of John Howell and Elizabeth Brewster. He married Mary Halsey, daughter of William H. Halsey and Susanna Jagger.1 He married Clarissa Fanning in 1806.2 He and Clarissa Fanning had three children, Francis, Jehiel, and Clarissa, who died in infancy.3 He left a will on 9 August 1825.1 He died on 26 March 1826 at age 53.1 He was buried in Westhampton Cemetery, Westhampton, Suffolk county, New York.1,4

Albino Ioppini1

M, b. 24 September 1881, d. 28 November 1965
     Albino Ioppini was born on 24 September 1881 in Frasco, Ticino, Switzerland.1 He was the son of Tommaso (Tomo) Bartolomeo Joppini and Carmela Giottonini.2 He immigrated in 1894.3 He was a farmer in King City, Monterey county, California.3 He married Clementina Marci on 25 October 1910.4,5 He was a truck farmer.6 On 7 April 1930 Albino Ioppini and Clementina Marci lived in State Highway, King City, Monterey county, California. He and Clementina Ioppini appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Soledad, Monterey county, California, at Mission Road, enumerated 16 April 1940. Their children Alfred, William, Thomas and Marion were listed as living with them.7 On 25 April 1942 Albino Ioppini lived in Greenfield, Monterey county, California.8 He died on 28 November 1965 in Monterey county, California, at age 84.1
