     Helen Milward was born on 18 May 1813 in Edensor, Derbyshire, England.1 She was the daughter of William Milward and Jane Blockley. She was baptized on 23 May 1813 in Edensor.1 She married Edgar Fletcher on 29 September 1842 in Edensor.1 She appeared on the 1851 English Census of Edensor in the household of James Milward.2 She and Edgar Fletcher appeared on the 1861 English Census of Edensor enumerated 7 April 1861. Their son William was listed as living with them.3 She died in 1873; likely the Ellen Fletcher whose death was registered 3rd quarter 1873 in Bakewell, age 60.4 She died on 30 June 1873 at age 60.5 Cause of death was plethisis.6 She was buried on 3 July 1873 in St. Peter's Church, Edensor, Derbyshire, England.6

He was baptized on 11 May 1823 in Edensor.1 He was a librarian to the Duke of Devonshire.2 He appeared on the 1851 English Census of Edensor enumerated 30 March 1851, with sisters Caroline Lucy Milward and Helen Fletcher, brother-in-law Edgar Fletcher and nephew William Milward Fletcher.3 He married Sarah Seward Swaffield, daughter of Benjamin Swaffield and Frances Chubb, on 4 January 1853 in Edensor.4 He was a innkeeper and farmer.5 He and Sarah Seward Milward appeared on the 1861 English Census of Rufford Inn, Brampton, Derbyshire, England, enumerated 7 April 1861. Their children Frances, Charles and Arthur were listed as living with them.5 He and Sarah Seward Milward appeared on the 1871 English Census of Dale Cottage, Tideswell, Derbyshire, England, enumerated 2 April 1871. Their children Arthur, Benjamin and Mary were listed as living with them.6 He was a farmer in Millers Dale, Tideswell, Derbyshire, England.7 He and Sarah Seward Milward appeared on the 1881 English Census of Tideswell enumerated 3 April 1881. Their children Arthur, Benjamin and Sarah were listed as living with them.8 He appeared on the 1891 English Census of Gorsey Bank, Wirksworth, Derbyshire, England. His children Charles, Arthur and Sarah were listed as living with him.9 He died on 13 December 1894 in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, England, at age 71.10 He was buried in Tideswell cemetery, Tideswell, Derbyshire, England.
