     George Adrian Carnahan was born on 19 September 1916 in Willcox, Cochise county, Arizona.² He was the son of Harry Lee Mason Carnahan and Adeline Mary Rebach. He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of McAllister Township, Cochise county, Arizona, in the household of his parents, Harry Lee Mason Carnahan and Adeline Mary Carnahan.³ He lived with Harry Lee Mason Carnahan on 18 April 1930 in Willcox.⁴ He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Willcox, Cochise county, Arizona, in the household of his parents, Harry Lee Mason Carnahan and Adeline Mary Carnahan.⁵ He witnessed the burial of Charlie G. Ioppini on 16 October 1965 in Ripon Cemetery, Ripon, San Joaquin County, California.⁶ He died on 12 April 2011 in Ripon, San Joaquin County, California, at age 94.²

     George Martin Carnahan was born on 1 August 1861 in Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky. He was the son of John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Kimsey. He married Leatha Ann Jordan on 11 July 1884. He and Leatha Ann Carnahan appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Webster county, Kentucky, enumerated 16 July 1900, with one daughter and three sons.¹ He died on 1 May 1939 in Broughton, Hamilton county, Illinois, at age 77.² He was buried in Gholson Cem, Broughton, Hamilton county, Illinois.

     George Wickliff Carnahan was born on 2 April 1877 in Union county, Kentucky.^1,3 He was the son of Uriah Darius Bradburne Carnahan and Alice America Wallace.¹ He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Clayville, Webster county, Kentucky, in the household of his parents, Uriah Darius Bradburne Carnahan and Alice America Carnahan.¹ He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Webster county, Kentucky, enumerated 6 July 1900, with wife Effie and three daughters.³ He died on 19 November 1946 in Webster county, Kentucky, at age 69.² Cause of death was suicide.²

     Gloria Carnahan is the daughter of Paul J. Carnahan.

     Hadica H. Carnahan was also known as Hadasah H. Carnahan. She was born on 11 January 1835 in Kentucky.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Mason Carnahan and Elizabeth Ann Cardwell. She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Hopkins county, Kentucky, in the household of her parents, John Mason Carnahan and Elizabeth Ann Carnahan.³ Hadica H. Carnahan was also known as Haddassah Wood. She married Alfred D. Wood on 10 June 1855 in Hopkins county, Kentucky.⁴ She died on 13 August 1914 in Hopkins county, Kentucky, at age 79; age 79 years, 7 months, 2 days.² She was buried on 14 August 1914 in Browder Cemetery, Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky.² Cause of death was dysentery, haemorrhage from bowel.²

     Harry Lee Mason Carnahan was born on 2 March 1875 in San Benito county, California.¹ He was the son of Francis Marion Carnahan and Charlotte Ianthe Hamilton. He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Monterey county, California, in the household of his parents, Francis Marion Carnahan and Charlotte Ianthe Carnahan.² He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of King City, Monterey county, California, enumerated 27 April 1910, farming with one hired hand.³ He married Adeline Mary Rebach on 26 March 1913 in Tucson, Pima county, Arizona.⁴ He was a farmer in Willcox, Cochise county, Arizona.⁵ He was issued a grant for the southwest quarter of Section four in Township thirteen south of Range twenty-four east of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Arizona, containing one hundred sixty acres on 18 September 1917.⁶ He and Adeline Mary Carnahan appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of McAllister Township, Cochise county, Arizona, enumerated 22 January 1920. Their children Francis, George, Ralph and Paul were listed as living with them.⁷ On 18 April 1930 Harry Lee Mason Carnahan lived in Willcox.⁸ He and Adeline Mary Carnahan appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Willcox, Cochise county, Arizona, enumerated 18 April 1930. Their children Francis, George, Ralph and Paul were listed as living with them.⁹ He died on 16 June 1971 in San Diego, San Diego county, California, at age 96.¹

     Hiram Evermont Carnahan was born on 14 January 1842 in Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of John Mason Carnahan and Elizabeth Ann Cardwell. He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Hopkins county, Kentucky, in the household of his parents, John Mason Carnahan and Elizabeth Ann Carnahan.² He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Madisonville in the household of his parents, John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Carnahan.³ He lived near Hopkinsville KY in 1861; in Washington, IL in 1866. He began military service on 26 July 1862 with Company A of the 86th Regiment, Illinois Volunteer Infantry. On August 9, 1864, Private Carnahan was wounded at Atlanta and he spent the rest of the war in army hospitals.⁴ He married Caroline Turner on 15 August 1873 in Arkansas.^5,4 He was a farmer in 1900 in Oklahoma. In 1920 Hiram Evermont Carnahan and Caroline Carnahan lived in 1208 2nd Street, Havre, Hill county, Montana.⁶ He died on 16 April 1923 in Durfur, Wasco county, Oregon, at age 81.¹ He was buried in IOOF Cemetery, Durfur, Wasco county, Oregon.¹

     John Carnahan was a gunsmith. He was born circa 1775 in Virginia.¹ He was born in 1775 in Pennsylvania.² He married Sarah Bradburn, daughter of William C. Bradburne, on 9 January 1805 in Fayette county, Kentucky.^3,4 He died in 1828 in Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky.²

     John Alby Carnahan was born on 9 November 1873 in Kentucky.^1,2 He was the son of Uriah Darius Bradburne Carnahan and Alice America Wallace.¹ He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Clayville, Webster county, Kentucky, in the household of his parents, Uriah Darius Bradburne Carnahan and Alice America Carnahan.¹ He was a farmer.² On 12 September 1918 John Alby Carnahan lived in Marion, Crittenden county, Kentucky.²

     John Mason Carnahan was a farmer and farm laborer. He was born on 1 January 1809 in Kentucky.¹ He was the son of John Carnahan and Sarah Bradburn. He married Elizabeth Ann Cardwell, daughter of James R. Cardwell and Nancy Egbert, on 27 October 1829 in Hopkins county, Kentucky; Elizabeth had just turned 14.² He and Elizabeth Ann Carnahan appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Hopkins county, Kentucky, enumerated 8 April 1850. Their children Francis, William, Hiram, Hadica and Uriah were listed as living with them.³ He married Ruth Elizabeth Kimsey on 14 November 1858 in Crittenden county, Kentucky; she was 16, he was 50.⁴ He and Ruth Elizabeth Carnahan appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky, enumerated 13 August 1860. Their children John, Uriah, Easter, Mary and Hiram were listed as living with them.⁵ He and Ruth Elizabeth Carnahan appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Hopkins county, Kentucky, enumerated 1 June 1880. Their children Mary, Benjamin, Sarah, Denolus, Julia, Lucy, Alfred and Johnson were listed as living with them.⁶ He died on 17 December 1883 at age 74.¹ He was buried in Browder Cemetery, Hopkins county, Kentucky.⁷

     John Mason Carnahan was born on 14 April 1849 in Kentucky.¹ He was the son of John Mason Carnahan and Elizabeth Ann Cardwell. He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky, in the household of his parents, John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Carnahan.² He married Laura M. Mathews on 3 August 1869 in Hopkins county, Kentucky.³ He married Isabella White on 28 April 1872 in Hopkins county, Kentucky.⁴ He and Isabella Carnahan appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Webster county, Kentucky, enumerated 6 July 1900.⁵ He was a laborer on 14 January 1920 in Santa Fe Railroad Yards.⁶ He died on 13 December 1928 in Birmingham, Jefferson county, Alabama, at age 79.^7,8 He was buried in Blackford Cemetery, Blackford, Webster county, Kentucky.⁷

     John R. Carnahan was born circa 1846. He was the son of William Chandler Carnahan and Emeline M. O'Bryan. He died young.

     Johnson J. Carnahan was born on 4 April 1869 in Madisonville, Hopkins county, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Kimsey. He appeared on the John Mason Carnahan in Hopkins county, Kentucky, and Mary Francis Carnahan, Benjamin Worthington Carnahan, Sarah Jenny Carnahan, Denolus Margaret Carnahan, Julia N. Carnahan, Lucy B. Carnahan and Alfred P. Carnahan were living in the same household; in this census, birthplace of father was given as Virginia, mother as South Carolina.² He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Hopkins county, Kentucky, in the household of his parents, John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Carnahan.² On 1 November 1894Johnson J. Carnahan wrote Francis Marion Carnahan saying that he was the "youngest living son of our father by his last wife". His residence at that time was Blackford (Webster Co.), Kentucky. He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Webster county, Kentucky, enumerated 1 June 1900, with wife Emeline.³ He died on 5 April 1908 in Clay, Webster county, Kentucky, at age 39.^1,4 He was buried in Martin Cemetery, Blackford, Webster county, Kentucky.⁵

     Julia N. Carnahan was born on 23 November 1874 in Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Kimsey. She appeared on the John Mason Carnahan in Hopkins county, Kentucky, and Mary Francis Carnahan, Benjamin Worthington Carnahan, Sarah Jenny Carnahan, Denolus Margaret Carnahan, Lucy B. Carnahan, Alfred P. Carnahan and Johnson J.      Katie F. Carnahan was born in October 1884 in Kentucky.¹ She was the daughter of Uriah Darius Bradburne Carnahan and Alice America Wallace.¹ She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Webster county, Kentucky, in the household of her parents, D.B. Carnahan and Alice America Carnahan.¹

     Louisa Carnahan was born in 1812. She was the daughter of John Carnahan and Sarah Bradburn.

     Lucinda B. Carnahan was born on 10 October 1805 in Christian county, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John Carnahan and Sarah Bradburn. She married William B. Lovings on 14 November 1827.¹ She died on 23 September 1881 in Christian county, Kentucky, at age 75.

     Lucy B. Carnahan was born circa 1874.¹ She was the daughter of John Mason Carnahan and Ruth Elizabeth Kimsey. She appeared on the John Mason Carnahan in Hopkins county, Kentucky, and Mary Francis Carnahan, Benjamin Worthington Carnahan, Sarah Jenny Carnahan, Denolus Margaret Carnahan, Julia N.      Marie C. Carnahan was born in 1816. She was the daughter of John Carnahan and Sarah Bradburn. She married William Merritt Lovan on 11 May 1836.¹

     Mary Ann Carnahan was born on 10 August 1810.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Carnahan and Sarah Bradburn. She married John Cardwell on 16 December 1830 in Hopkins county, Kentucky. She was buried in Webster county, Kentucky. She died in 1902.¹

On 6 January 1920 Nancy Matilda Carnahan lived in Oakland, Alameda county, California; boarder, no occupation given.⁴ On 22 April 1930 Nancy Matilda Carnahan lived in New York City, New York; lodger, no occupation given, indicated she was a widow.⁵ She appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Oakland, Alameda county, California, at 189 Vernon Terrace, enumerated 15 April 1940.⁶ She died on 28 September 1947 in Alameda county, California, at age 75.⁷

     Nellie Viola Carnahan was born on 30 April 1870 in California.^1,2 She was the daughter of Francis Marion Carnahan and Charlotte Ianthe Hamilton. She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Monterey county, California, in the household of her parents, Francis Marion Carnahan and Charlotte Ianthe Carnahan.³ She died on 11 January 1894 in Metz, Monterey county, California, at age 23.^1,2

     Paul J. Carnahan is the son of Harry Lee Mason Carnahan and Adeline Mary Rebach. Their children James and Lowell were listed as living with them, as well as Pauline's mother, Charlotte Ianthe Carnahan. Her residence was listed as Salinas in mother's and father's death notices. She and Lester Wright Alsop appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Salinas, Monterey county, California, at 140 John Street, enumerated 11 April 1940. Their children James, Lois, Virginia and John were listed as living with them.⁵ She died on 27 October 1958 in Salinas, Monterey county, California, at age 64.^1,6 She was buried in Garden of Memories Memorial Park, Salinas, Monterey county, California.⁷

     Ralph Carnahan is the son of Harry Lee Mason Carnahan and Adeline Mary Rebach.      Samuel Carnahan was born on 15 February 1885 in Webster county, Kentucky.^1,2 He was the son of Uriah Darius Bradburne Carnahan and Alice America Wallace.¹ He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Webster county, Kentucky, in the household of his parents, D.B.
